We collect the following personal information when you use our App:

  • Email Address: Used for account creation and authentication through WorkOS
  • Name: First and last name for pass personalization and verification
  • Profile Information: Optional slogan and contact details you choose to provide
  • Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers

1.2 Location Information

If you enable location services, we collect:

  • Precise Location Data: GPS coordinates to determine when you arrive at beaches and facilities
  • Background Location: Location data when the app is not actively in use, solely for the purpose of sending pass notifications when you enter facility areas

Purpose: Location data is used exclusively to automatically display your access passes when you arrive at Incline Village beaches, tennis center, and recreation facilities.

1.3 Biometric Information

If you enable Face ID or Touch ID:

  • Biometric Data Processing: Your biometric data (Face ID/Touch ID) is processed locally on your device using Apple's Secure Enclave
  • No Transmission: Biometric data never leaves your device and is not stored on our servers
  • Preference Storage: We only store your preference to use biometric authentication (enabled/disabled)

1.4 Usage Information

We automatically collect:

  • App Usage: Features used, session duration, and crash reports
  • Notification Data: Push notification tokens for sending location-based notifications
  • Authentication Data: Login timestamps and session information

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

  • Access Management: Verify your eligibility and provide access to Incline Village facilities
  • Pass Display: Show your access passes when you arrive at facility entrances
  • Notifications: Send location-based notifications about pass requirements and facility information
  • Account Security: Enable secure login with Face ID/Touch ID authentication
  • App Improvement: Analyze usage patterns to improve app functionality and user experience
  • Support: Respond to your questions and provide customer support

No Advertising: We do not use your personal information for advertising or marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

3.1 WorkOS Authentication

We use WorkOS for secure user authentication. When you log in:

  • Your email address is processed by WorkOS according to their privacy policy

  • We receive only your verified email address and authentication status

3.2 Apple Services

The App uses the following Apple services:

  • Core Location: For geofencing and location-based notifications
  • Local Authentication: For Face ID/Touch ID processing (data stays on device)
  • Push Notifications: For location-based pass reminders

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With trusted vendors who help us operate the App (e.g., WorkOS for authentication)
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, court order, or government regulation
  • Safety: To protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or others
  • Business Transfer: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with user notification)

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information:

  • Account Data: While your account is active or as needed to provide services
  • Location Data: Location data is not stored; it is only used for real-time geofencing
  • Usage Data: Up to 2 years for app improvement purposes
  • Support Records: Up to 3 years for customer service purposes

7. Your Rights and Choices

7.1 Location Services

You can control location access:

  • Enable/disable in the App's Profile settings
  • Change permissions in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services
  • Choose "When In Use" or "Always" permission levels

7.2 Biometric Authentication

You can control biometric features:

  • Enable/disable Face ID/Touch ID in the App's Profile settings
  • Biometric authentication is always optional

7.3 Data Access and Deletion

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal information
  • Correction: Update or correct your information in the App
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format

8. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

9. International Users

If you are located outside the United States, please note that we transfer, process, and store your information in the United States. By using the App, you consent to such transfer and processing.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

  • Posting the new Privacy Policy in the App
  • Updating the "Last Updated" date
  • Sending a notification for material changes
